Resume and Career Documents: You can either: Upload your resume, CV, or other career documents, or Manually enter your information into our platform. When you upload documents, we extract and process the information contained in them to power our AI features.

2.2 Information We Collect Automatically

Technical Information: When you use Uptra, we automatically collect: IP address, Device type and operating system, Browser type and version, Usage data (pages viewed, features used, time spent on platform), Cookies and similar tracking technologies

Analytics Data: We track how you interact with our Service to improve your experience and our features.

2.3 Information from Third Parties

Job Listings: We collect job postings from third-party job boards and APIs (including Active Jobs DB via RapidAPI) to show you relevant opportunities. We collect job listing data only, not personal information from other platforms.

3.1 Provide Our Core Services

Intelligent Job Matching: Analyze your profile to show you jobs where you have a high chance of success. Application Generation: Create tailored resumes, cover letters, and LinkedIn messages for specific job opportunities. Interview Preparation: Provide AI-powered interview tips and practice tools based on job descriptions.

3.2 AI Processing

We use Google's Gemini API to power our AI features. This means we send the following to Google for processing: Your resume content and career information, Job descriptions you're interested in, The application materials we generate for you (resumes, cover letters, messages). Google processes this data according to their own privacy policy and terms of service. We carefully select service providers who maintain strong data protection standards.

3.3 Platform Operations

Create and manage your account, Process payments through Stripe, Provide customer support, Send you service updates and notifications, Improve our Service and develop new features, Analyze usage patterns and platform performance, Ensure security and prevent fraud.

3.4 Communications

Respond to your inquiries, Send important updates about our Service, Notify you about relevant job opportunities, Share platform updates and new features (you can opt out of marketing emails).

4.1 With Employers (When You Apply)

When you apply to a job through Uptra, we share: Your generated application package (tailored resume, cover letter), Any information you choose to include in your application. Your application is submitted directly to employers. We focus on helping you present your best self while maintaining appropriate privacy boundaries.

4.2 With Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate Uptra: Google (Gemini API): Processes your resume, job descriptions, and generates your application materials. Amazon Web Services (AWS): Hosts our platform and stores data securely. Stripe: Processes payments securely (we never store your full credit card information). RapidAPI/Active Jobs DB: Provides job listings (we send requests for job data only). These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the services they provide to us.
